Kuchinda Mali Application
The Kuchinda Mali web application was inspired by my mother, an entrepreneur and businesswoman who manages a variety of commercial enterprises.
She was experiencing difficulties keeping track of clients who would frequently purchase items—such as clothing and shoes—on credit. Her usual method of recording these transactions in a notebook proved cumbersome, as she had to protect the physical book while maintaining separate pages—or even entirely different books—for clients purchasing from various businesses.
As a software developer and engineer, the drawbacks of this manual approach were very clear, so I set out to create a digital solution to streamline her record-keeping process.
Solution
Thus, the Kuchinda Mali application was born. The name translates to "Counting Money" in the language of the Lunda people, of which my mother is a member.
With this web application, she can effortlessly manage all of her business ventures and track clients who have acquired items on credit. She can securely access full transaction details directly from her mobile phone at any time and from anywhere.
